Refund policy

Subscriptions (Auto-Renew) & Recurring Orders

When you start a subscription, you authorize us to automatically charge your saved payment method and ship on the schedule you choose.

Cutoff: To stop the next shipment, cancel at least 24 hours before the upcoming renewal/ship date.

After a renewal is processed or an order ships: we may be unable to cancel it. If you believe a charge is unauthorized, contact us immediately at help@BrainTea.com.

How to cancel (pick one):

  • Use the dashboard link in your order confirmation email.
  • Log in via the Customer Login link in our top menu.
  • Email a clear cancellation request to help@BrainTea.com.

Security note: We don’t create or modify subscriptions without your action or clear written consent.


Returns & Exchanges

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on purchases made at BrainTea.com (starting from the purchase date).

Shipping & handling: A $12 shipping & handling fee is deducted from approved refunds. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Consumable product notice: For safety and quality reasons, we do not accept returns of opened packages.

No need to send it back (in most cases): You may keep or responsibly dispose of (destroy) the product. We may request a quick photo for quality control and verification.

Refund limit (important): Refunds are limited to one (1) unit per SKU per customer.
This includes multi-bag purchases, “stock up” orders, and bundles that include multiple units of the same SKU. Any additional units of the same SKU (opened or unopened) are not eligible for refund. This helps prevent buyer’s remorse refunds on multi-unit orders and keeps pricing fair for everyone.

Items bought at retail stores or other non-BrainTea.com channels must be handled at the original point of sale.

Defective/damaged/incorrect item? Tell us—replacements or refunds are provided without the $12 fee.

Promo orders (e.g., buy-one-get-one): refunds are issued for the amount paid; promo value isn’t refundable.


Refunds

Once we confirm your refund, we’ll process it and apply credit to your original payment method.

If you don’t see it within 72 hours of our confirmation, check with your bank/card—posting times can vary. If it’s still missing, email help@BrainTea.com.


International Customers

You’re responsible for any import duties/taxes charged by your country.

If you choose Passport Priority Tracked (Duties May Apply) and decline to pay duties, the shipment may be held or returned and will be considered Refused by Recipient (no refund).

EU & EEA Customers — Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you (or a third party you designate, other than the carrier) receive the goods, without giving any reason (the “cooling-off period”).

How to exercise this right (two steps):

  • Send us an unambiguous statement of withdrawal: email help@BrainTea.com (or use the withdrawal option on our store) and include your name and order number.
  • We will send you an email confirming receipt of your withdrawal request.

Refund: We will refund all payments received from you, including standard (least-expensive) delivery charges, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction. No fee is deducted from statutory EU/EEA withdrawal refunds.

Exception — sealed consumable goods: In accordance with Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. Opened tea packages are therefore exempt; unopened products remain fully covered.

Model withdrawal form: You may (but are not obliged to) use the following wording: “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [product], ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Name: [name]. Order number: [order number]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].”

This statutory right applies in addition to our 30-day money-back guarantee; EU/EEA consumers may rely on whichever is more favorable.


Shipping

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For refunds under this policy, you typically don’t ship anything back (see Returns & Exchanges). If you do send something, use a trackable service; we can’t guarantee receipt of unsolicited returns.


Exchanges

We only exchange products that arrive defective or damaged, or swap for items of equal or lesser value. Email help@BrainTea.com for instructions.
